JTC Motorsports

Our Story

Our family history with cars dates to 1955 with my father, while in high school
customized a 1949 Mercury. After graduation, he won the first Pomona National Drag Race in his 1956 A-Stock Two Door.

AVC Racing was founded in 1974. We began racing BMX and later advanced to
Motocross and Micro Midgets.


Growing up in a time where you could still build race cars out of your garage and be competitive, my father and I started building USAC Midgets along with Street and Track cars from a small garage in the San Gabriel Valley, California.

After 15 years of Racing and Driving for Car Owners, Sponsers, and my Father, I am proud to start this next chapter with my son at the wheel.
JTC MOTORSPORTS was formed in 1998 going back to our core routs and starting over. My son James Jr. started racing BMX and won three National Championships by the age of 6.

Since 2012 JTC MOTORSPORTS has focused on building Gen 1 Camaros, TRI-Fives, Classics, Custom, Drag Racing, Off-Road, and Drift Cars.

Original Builds

First generation Z28 / Compo Camaros is all JTC MOTORSPORTS works on. At this shop, 1967, 1968 and 1969 Camaros are king of the road and showstoppers. JTC MOTORSPORTS only uses and puts back OME and NOS parts when needed. From the original 302 engines to all the running parts and interior. Only the best goes into these classic hot rod cars. We believe our cars roll out of our shop better than when GM built them. First generation 67, 68 & 1969 Camaro’s/GM, without a doubt have stood the test of time, for one of the greatest hot rod cars ever built .
